Open audition

Background
This Image is No more is an art project initiated by the artists Juan Pedro Fabra, Loulou Cherinet and Michele Masucci that will be produced in collaboration with Sinne Art Gallery during 2012 opening september this same year.

The Art Project This Image is No More is thematizing issues concerning identity politics and the construction of national identity utilizing narrative techniques and theatrical stagings in public space.

We are now looking to find candidates from theatre and art of all ages, backgrounds and levels of experience to participate in the project.

Auditions will be 15 minutes total. Actors may prepare any combination of the following:
Actors can prepare a monologue from a contemporary play.
Actors may prepare scene to be read from any show. Sides will be provided by other candidates. For 
actors reading a scene a reader will necessary. Please bring min two copies of the manuscript of your choice.

Please bring three headshots and resumes. Plan to arrive for your audition 20 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment.
Casting authority for these auditions is Juan Pedro Fabra, Michele Masucci, Markus Åström and Sabina Westerholm.
Audition is held in Swedish, English or Finnish. DEADLINE for applications is 2nd February , 17pm.

The audition is a part of the official programme for the
World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 and the WDC 2012 Open Doors Weekend.
